My name is Arafa. I have been born in a village that considers itself a part of the Great Cairo the Capital of Egypt. I\'m married and have a daughter called Miriam, now she is almost 3 years old.

I graduated from faculty of tourism & Hotel Management 2001, guiding section, Studying Egyptology for 4 years.

I have been working in different jobs. First I started to work in a diving center as a counter attendant, then counter supervisor, then freelance Egyptologist, then as a Tour Leader Guide (Egyptologist) for an adventure company and a Program Director for OAT. So I have been in the field for more than 10 years.

Egypt has a lot to offer to the whole universe - more that we can imagine, Egypt to the earth like the heart to the body, and its people are as warm as their sun and hospitable as their Nile.

My goal is to show you the real country through the eyes of the Egyptian People, and share with you all what I know about my country, the ancient and modern history of Egypt, customs, traditions & culture of the Egyptians.
