I am a qualified Trails guide and Tracker, as well as a Marine and Birding Guide. My experiences are typically based in my home province, Kwa-Zulu Natal. I have ample knowledge and experience with "Big 5" game, however, my focus and passions lean more to botany, reptiles, birds, butterflies, wildflowers, marine, and local paleo-anthropology. I have extensive experience working with foreigners of all backgrounds, having lived abroad for several years. I am also well experienced with reptiles of various kinds, having kept a large collection of snakes and lizards throughout my late teens and 20s. I am an avid gardener and am actively involved in various indigenous gardening programs and volunteer work involving alien plant removal. My experiences are personal, adventurous, and educational. I thrive on creating experiences that enrich the lives of others and develop a better understanding of the world we live in.
I am a Chinese proficient, FGASA (Field Guides Association of South Africa) qualified field guide in the working in the fields of environmental education and wilderness experiences. I am a South African, with Excellent Native English and working level Chinese and Afrikaans. I have several years experience in international guiding, translation, and especially education, of which I have over 7 years in SA, and 5 years abroad.
