My names is Rosario but I prefer to be called simply Saro. Since ten years ago I joined to the couchsurfing project hosting people from all around the world and travelling in all Europe being hosted by locals. This is the way I like, to know a place is not just to get some information about it, but to touch the true life of locals and to learn from them, and this is the way I use for my tours.
I'm an History degree and I grow up in a small village on mount Etna. After managing a youth hostel for 5 years I Became a sicilian tour guide trying to combine trekking and cultural tours.
I share my passion for the territory where I live doing every day tours on Mt. Etna, Catania, Siracusa, Taormina etc. I focus my guiding on unconventional information which are able to tell the soul of the place, that here means art, food, tradition, history and more, all together, because it's impossible to separate them in Sicily.
