Lucia alle Malve" - Piazza San Pietro Caveoso - steps up to the Cathedral - view of the "Sasso Barisano" - Piazza del Sedile and Via delle Beccherie - Piazza Vittorio Veneto and a walk in the baroque part of the town (Chiesa del Purgatorio, Via Domenico Ridola, etc. ) TRANSFER: Matera - Belvedere di "Murgia Timone" (about 10 min. ) For the best view of Matera and its Sassi, from the other side of the canyon.
