Tour will be from 9am-2pm

Just off the beaten track halfway between Cape town and Stellenbosch, lies Durbanville a small town once renown for its wagon making, where the Dutch initially only farmed grain to power the Napoleonic wars... this until a "thirsty farmer" decided to try his luck at producing wine... The rest is as they say is history.

We will visit three smaller family-run boutique wineries, where wines are made in small batches, ensuring outstanding quality.. Here you are likely to rub shoulders with locals, away from the lines of tour busses.

The region is known as "White wine country" producing world-class wines. The influence of the cool Atlantic air, complemented by the clay-rich terroir means vines thrive in the nutrient rich soil that always remains moist. For the lovers of Red and Rose varietals you wnt be dissapointed.
