Visit three beautiful cities along the river Danube. Discover the picturesque Danube Bend through Esztergom, Visegrád and finally Szentendre. Get to know the cradle of the Hungarian history and its important places on this full-day tour with us. This tour is ideal for travelers who want to combine history, culture, scenic landscapes, and authentic Hungarian towns in one unforgettable experience.

We meet each other at an agreed time and place (hotel, apartment, railway station, boat pier, or airport) and together you will set off on a scenic journey through the beautiful Danube Bend region.

Our first destination is Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary and the spiritual heart of the Hungarian Catholic Church. Here you will visit the magnificent Basilica, admire breathtaking views over the Danube, explore the medieval castle area, and learn about Hungary’s most important rulers and fascinating history. Along the way, we also make a short stop in Slovakia for a quick photo opportunity.

Next, we continue to Visegrád, where we climb up to the hilltop fortress and explore the castle and its surroundings. Inside the exhibitions, you will step into the medieval world of knights, kings, and royal courts, while enjoying one of the most iconic panoramic views in Hungary.

Lunch is optional and can be arranged according to your preferences.

Our final stop is the charming riverside town of Szentendre, once an artists’ colony and today a lively, bohemian town filled with galleries, small museums, cafés, and boutiques. We enjoy a relaxed walk along the main street, Rab Ráby Square, and the Danube Promenade.

At the end of the day, you will be comfortably returned by car to your pre-arranged destination (hotel, airport, boat pier, or other agreed location).
