Since I am licensed tourist guide, I offer guided tours in Croatia - to be more specific in Split, Šibenik and Dubrovnik county. I offer the tours on different topics such as: Historical Tour, Game of Thrones, Homeland War Tour, The History of Hajduk Split, Jewish Tour and other topics, depending on the clients' preferences. Apart from different topics, there are different places that you can visit with me and discover beautiful region of Dalmatia in that way: Fortress Klis with incredible history of defense against Ottoman Empire, islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis, UNESCO pearl - city Trogir and other unique Dalmatian destinations. My native language is Croatian, but I graduated both English and Croatian language and literature, so I am working mostly in English language so far. It is not enough just to read about Croatia on Wikipedia, you have to experience it with your local guide :)
My name is Katarina, and I am a tourist guide. However, I haven't always been a guide; I used to work as a teacher for five years, after which I decided to explore other possibilities. I have been an introvert, and I always thought that I cannot work with people, just with papers, or in front of computer. But life made other plans, as usually, and I ended up only jobs that include direct interaction with people. All of a sudden, I found myself on stage all the time. For me it is really fulfilling to work as a tourist guide; to discover history, culture, tradition, art. It is a process of learning for myself, too. I learn from any question that I have been asked as a guide. Apart from guiding, my fist love is writing, so I usually contemplate on places and people with my notebook. I am looking forward to share with you incredible history of this place - from Ilyrians to Venetians. Not only factual knowledge - because you can read it themselves - but the impressions, little secrets you can find out nowhere but in direct touch with the native.
