My name is Katarina, and I am a tourist guide. However, I haven't always been a guide; I used to work as a teacher for five years, after which I decided to explore other possibilities. I have been an introvert, and I always thought that I cannot work with people, just with papers, or in front of computer. But life made other plans, as usually, and I ended up only jobs that include direct interaction with people. All of a sudden, I found myself on stage all the time. For me it is really fulfilling to work as a tourist guide; to discover history, culture, tradition, art. It is a process of learning for myself, too. I learn from any question that I have been asked as a guide. Apart from guiding, my fist love is writing, so I usually contemplate on places and people with my notebook. I am looking forward to share with you incredible history of this place - from Ilyrians to Venetians. Not only factual knowledge - because you can read it themselves - but the impressions, little secrets you can find out nowhere but in direct touch with the native.
