A journey is lived like an incredible story written by you, a realized idea, where every detail is carefully planned, and the chapters are woven together, making them unforgettable.
The dream of traveling often comes from a desire to feel the atmosphere of freedom and new discoveries. My mission is to help you immerse yourself in this atmosphere and write your own story.
In small, intimate groups, I travel with my guests to the most fascinating corners of the South of France, where you can truly feel like a person living here, enjoy beautiful landscapes, history, architecture, art, exquisite cuisine, and fine wine, all accompanied by interesting stories told by someone deeply in love with these places. I will help turn your dreams and desires into unique experiences.
Hello dear friends!
My name is Maria Garcia.
I am a professional guide in the south of France, deeply in love with aesthetics and beauty, and a real believer that "Beauty will save the World!
I come from a very multinational family—half Spanish from my father’s side, and half Russian from my mother’s. France and Spain have been a part of my life since childhood and became my home, like Russia, much before my relocation. Every year during the holidays, I would visit my father's family in France, where they had long been settled. The summers in Spain and my French childhood made these countries feel like home.
I’ve been living in Europe for almost 10 years. In 2015, I moved to Barcelona, which marked a turning point in my life: a change of profession and the creation of a new social circle.
My first degree is in architecture, having graduated from the Moscow Architectural University. However, construction never attracted me, so I took the best aspects from architecture – aesthetics, history, and art. After living in Barcelona for a couple of years, I realized I wanted a career change, so I graduated from the Academy of Tourism in Barcelona and became a certified professional guide.
A few years ago, I moved to the South of France, Montpellier, where I fell deeply in love with both the city and the region, still relatively undiscovered by tourists, making it unspoiled, authentic, and vibrant!
I founded my own tour and excursion bureau and obtained my official French guide card, granting me access to the country’s cultural heritage and the right to make tours not only in cities but also in the best museums of France and Europe.
Now, I organize custom tours, where my entire experience perfectly aligns with the work I am passionate about.
During my tours, we will walk through the narrow streets of medieval towns and immerse ourselves in the gentle pastoral life of small villages scattered among vineyards in the nearby hills, where it feels like time has stopped, and you’ve traveled back to the 15th century. We will visit ancient abbeys and castles full of mysteries and wineries where wine has been made by the same family for eleven generations and where contemporary artists create unique styles for each bottle or barrel, offering a fascinating dialogue between winemaking traditions and modern design. Then we will take a barefoot stroll along endless white sand beaches surrounded by dunes, where white horses graze nearby and flamingos fly overhead. We’ll sit down to enjoy a glass of rosé wine grown right in the sand by the sea, with a delicate and slightly salty taste, paired with the freshest, just-caught oysters.
It is true happiness for me to be a guide and share these incredible places with my guests, offering a world that is inaccessible to an average tourist.
Come and experience the true taste of life!
