​Looking for a German- or English-Speaking Private Guide in Kathmandu (+ Lumbini) – from 2 October 2025

I’m looking for a private guide in Kathmandu who can show me the main sights in the city and possibly nearby areas. I also plan to travel to Lumbini. In addition, I’d love recommendations for a one-week retreat in a monastery (meditation and possibly yoga). I’m curious about options for longer-term living in an ashram or a shared flat (WG). I have a hotel booked in Thamel for three weeks, but due to reports of heavy smog in the center I’m considering moving to a higher, cleaner neighborhood that’s still accessible by public transport.

Destination: Kathmandu (+ side trip to Lumbini), Nepal
