Gondar is one of the oldest cities in the Ethiopia flourished in about the 1st quarter of 17th C AD as the 4th permanent capital next to Yeha, Aksum and Lalibela. Located in the North-western part just south of Simen mountains and north of lake Tana with an altitude of 2200masl. King Fasiledes, 1632-67 is credited with the foundation of Gondar as a seat of his monarch known as the Gonderian state.
Gondar lasted as a center of trade, politics art and religion for at least 300 years.Today

ITINERARY
Day 1-Addis Ababa-Gondar
Early breakfast then fly to Gondar. The guide waiting for you outside the airport's terminal with the vehicle then drive to your hotel. After short break, start the city tour and visit the royal enclosure equiped with both ruins and well preserved castles, bath of king Fasiledes & Debrebirhan Sillassie church. Based on your time, visit the Felasha village (5ks outside of Gondar) where Ethiopian Jewish communites used to live. O/n hotel.
Day 2- Have breakfast then head to airport for the flight to Addis Ababa. If you have more time, take city tour of Addis Ababa and visit: National museum where the 3.2myo fosdil of Lucy is kept, mount, Entoto, markato and etc. End of our service
