As a tour guide in Zagreb, I offer more than just sightseeing — I share deep cultural insights, local stories, and artistic knowledge. With my background in arts, journalism, and travel, I tailor each tour to your interests, encouraging dialogue and discovery. Expect local tips, history, and authentic experiences!
I'm a freelance tour guide translator, journalist and photographer with a passion for travelling. These may seem like very different fields, but in my mind they all tightly connected - all these jobs are somehow connected with exploring cultures - for example, even language (translation) is just one of the keys to understanding different cultures. All my life I've been very much into arts and culture, and my very special passion is music. My other passion are visual arts (therefore on my tours you can get deep insights into history of art and architecture), not only as a filed of study but also as a field of creative expression, so in the last 5 years I also started a small ceramic brand, and artistic creation has become one of the great joys in my life.

I've been living in Zagreb since 2000 when I came here to study Comparative Literature, and I fell in love with this city. From my own travels, I know how precious it is to meet locals and get insider tips; it's one of the most wonderful aspects of travelling.

Since student I have hosted lots of people from all around the world (via Couchsurfing and various student projects), showed them around and shared the history and culture of my city (and region) with them. Later I became a professional tour guide, but due to my broad interests and passions, I've always combined it with other jobs. So, I'm not that classic tour guide super-specialized in one city and repeating the same stories, I'm always happy to broaden the scope of storytelling and discuss history of wider regions or even compare local stories with stories from all around world ( and I can do it on the basis of my rich travel experience, as well as my experience as tour leader - I lead tours in other regions too). I always try to understand your background knowledge, and adjust my storytelling, I prefer dialogue to classical exposition/lecture style, the more questions on your side, the better!
I can also recommend really good places to eat, drink coffee, and buy quality souvenirs (remember, I'm an artisan myself and know the scene very well, I can definitely help you avoid tourist traps and fake souvenirs). And I can help you plan your journey and route in Croatia or even in wider region, due to my deep knowledge about the whole region (Balkan region, especially West Balkans).
