I offer customized private tours in Xi’an, China, focusing on the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, and ancient city culture. With 15 years of experience in cross-cultural communication, I provide in-depth historical insights and hassle-free, personalized experiences for international travelers.
I am a passionate local guide based in Xi’an, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties in China. My deep connection to this city began when I was a child, listening to my grandparents tell stories about the Terracotta Army and the Silk Road. Over the years, this fascination grew into a lifelong dedication to sharing Xi’an’s rich history, culture, and hidden gems with travelers from all over the world.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in History from a top university in China, where I specialized in Chinese ancient civilization and the Silk Road. This academic background has given me a solid foundation to understand and explain the complex history of Xi’an, from the rise of the Qin Dynasty to the golden age of the Tang Dynasty. I also completed professional training in tourism and guiding, which has equipped me with the skills to design safe, informative, and engaging tours for different types of travelers, whether they are solo adventurers, families, or small groups of friends.

For the past 15 years, I have worked in international business, where I interacted with clients from over 30 countries on a daily basis. This experience has not only honed my English communication skills but also taught me how to understand and adapt to different cultural backgrounds and travel styles. I know how to explain Chinese history and culture in a way that is easy to understand and relatable, avoiding jargon and focusing on stories that bring the past to life. I am patient, attentive, and always ready to answer questions, no matter how big or small.

My specialization lies in three main areas: first, the Terracotta Army and the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, where I can share detailed information about the history, construction, and mysteries of the site, as well as tips to avoid crowds and make the most of the visit. Second, the Shaanxi History Museum, home to some of the most important artifacts in Chinese history, including the Hejiacun Treasures and the Flying Horses of the Western Han Dynasty. I love taking visitors through these exhibits, explaining the stories behind each piece and connecting them to the broader history of Xi’an. Third, the ancient city wall and the Muslim Quarter, where I combine history with local life, taking visitors through hidden alleys, introducing them to traditional snacks, and sharing stories about the city’s vibrant culture today.

What sets me apart is my commitment to personalized service. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all tours. Instead, I take the time to understand each traveler’s interests, pace, and preferences, and design a tour that is unique to them. Whether you are a history buff looking for deep dives into ancient dynasties, a food lover eager to try local specialties, or a traveler who wants to experience the quiet charm of Xi’an’s hidden corners, I can create a tour that suits you. I also understand that travel can be stressful, especially in a foreign country, so I strive to make every tour hassle-free, helping with transportation, tickets, and any unexpected issues that may arise.

Over the years, I have did business with many international buyer, and many of them have become my friends. What I love most about this job is the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures and share my love for my city with them. I believe that travel is not just about seeing places, but about understanding and connecting with the people and stories that make those places special.

In my free time, I enjoy reading about Chinese history, exploring new parts of Xi’an, and trying new local foods. I am always looking for new ways to enhance my tours, whether it’s learning about new historical research, discovering hidden spots, or trying new snacks to recommend to visitors. I also stay up-to-date with the latest travel information, such as opening hours, ticket policies, and transportation options, to ensure that my tours are always accurate and up-to-date.

I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for Xi’an with you, and to help you create unforgettable memories in this ancient and vibrant city. Whether you are visiting for a day or a week, I can design a tour that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.
