My name is Anna and I am the only bilingual tour guide of Penzance town. I was born in Emden, DE. My dad was German and my mum was Dutch. I followed my love to Cornwall and have lived here for 41 years. Professionally I worked in the care section and Social Services Children department. I retired many years ago and decided to turn my hobby into my business and started guided walking tours of Penzance. In my first year my tours lasted about 1.5 hrs, but soon they increased to 2 hrs , because there is so much to show and tell about ancient Penzance. Penzance runs a Literature Festival in July every year and I run tours specific to the literature history of Penzance. A few years ago I started working for cruise ship agencies to and accompany cruisers on excursion along the Cornish coast and towns.
