Located just south of Sea Point and northwest of Camps Bay, Clifton is famous for its four secluded beaches, each with distinct vibes and settings. Due to its rugged coastline and historically treacherous waters, Cape Point is home to several shipwrecks dating back centuries, a testament to the perilous journey around the tip of Africa. Cape Point is part of the Cape Floral Region, one of the world’s richest biodiversity hotspots. The fynbos (native shrubland) is home to thousands of plant species, including rare proteas.
