Hello, I'm Patricia, a licensed tour guide born and raised in Rio de Janeiro — a city I have been proudly sharing with travelers for more than a decade. My career in tourism began long before I became a guide. I started in the hospitality industry, working at hotels and developing my English and Spanish while meeting travelers from all over the world. Since then, I have worked in different areas of tourism, including travel agencies, tour operations, corporate events and interpretation.
In 2011, I completed my official tour guide training in Rio de Janeiro and found the profession that truly brought everything together: my love for my city, my curiosity about people and my passion for creating meaningful experiences.
Today, I am the founder of Rio Smile Tours, where I specialize in private experiences in Rio de Janeiro. I believe the best way to discover a city is not simply to visit its landmarks, but to understand its stories, culture, flavors and everyday life through the eyes of someone who genuinely knows it.
