Get to know Mexico and the Mayan Riviera by a local.
Personalised tours, full day and half day trips around the Mayan Riviera.
Visit all the wonders of the area like Cenotes and caves, Nature reserves, Archaeological sites, The second largest reef barrier and Local gastronomy by the hand of a Mexican in love with its homeland
I have lived in the Mayan Riviera for over 15 years.
I am 100% Mexican and found my vocation as a tour guide over eight years ago — it's my dream job! I have worked as a tour guide all around the area for at least four different companies, taking people to places like Akumal to swim with sea turtles, and to Tulum, Coba, Sian Ka'an, Contoy Island, Holbox Island, open and closed cenotes and caves, for ATV tours, zip lining and snorkelling over the coral reef barrier. After all these years, lots of studying and preparation, I decided to become independent and provide tourist services the way they should be: with quality, patience (there's no need to rush when you're on holiday), authenticity, good service, and wonderful experiences.
I love having the opportunity to share the beauty of my beloved Mexico with everyone. Mexico is rich in culture, nature, history and gastronomy, and it is a place where you can truly experience its roots and diversity.
I became a professional chef in 2011, but after working in the hospitality industry, I switched to tourism and fell in love with being a tour guide.
In terms of my professional qualifications, I have studied to become a tour guide specialising in natural parks, nature reserves, archaeological sites and ruins. I possess the federal archaeological licence to guide across Mexico, as well as the federal licence for nature reserves such as Isla Contoy and Sian Ka'an.
Cenotes and caves are my particular specialty. These unique places inspire the adventurer within us. I am sure that they are a must-see if you are visiting south-east Mexico.
I am particularly fascinated by the area's natural richness and diversity, as well as by "thinking outside the box" with regard to activities and places to visit. I love going to the most isolated and least visited places on the Riviera.
As a parent of a wonderful five year old, I love children and enjoy spending time with families. I firmly believe that educating our children and inspiring them to appreciate the beauty of our precious planet is what will make a difference in the future.
As a chef and a foodie, I am passionate about showcasing the amazing Mexican gastronomy, its flavours, aromas and colours, and the most traditional Mexican dishes and recipes.
