Born and raised in Germany, I moved to Stockholm in my early 50s — first because I fell in love with a ♥️ Swede, and then with the ☀️ Swedish way of life ❄️ that helps make Sweden one of the happiest countries in the world. Curious to understand why, I studied the language, Stockholm’s history and traditions, and everyday life — from fika culture and local food to swimming spots, winter skiing, public transport and seasonal events.

I trained as a qualified Stockholm guide and am certified to lead tours in English, German and Swedish. My background in art school and a career in global marketing and communications bring context and colour to stories about art, architecture, churches, food and Stockholmers’ favourite places.
I passionately share insights from the hidden corners of Gamla stan to the creative pulse of Södermalm and the city’s best fika spots.

My mission is to help visitors discover Stockholm’s true beauty and find their own “smultronställe” — a personal place of happiness.
As your personal guide I tailor each tour to your interests, combining iconic sights, local gems, and a meaningful hidden spot to remember.
