Sebnem Buyukkaragoz is a local tour guide in Istanbul, Turkey offering private tours and excursions

Born in Istanbul in 1974, Sebnem developed her Italian language skills during an 8-year stay in Switzerland with her family. After returning to Turkey, she attended the Italian High School of Istanbul and later earned a B.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University in 1997, studying in English. That same year, she completed a year-long training program and became a certified tour guide through the Turkish Ministry of Tourism. Sebnem’s career also included over a decade as an Export Area Manager with Eczacıbaşı, a prominent Turkish industrial group, during which she traveled to more than 20 countries. In recent years, her work as a freelance guide has taken her on numerous enriching adventures. She has experience leading both large cultural groups and specialized private tours, passionately sharing the wonders of Istanbul and Turkey with visitors from around the world.
