I would like to offer you 5 day tour to the Mountainous Region Tusheti, which could be reached by car just 3-4 month in the year. When other months it is rarely served exclusively by helicopters.
Road that leads there is coined one of the highest and most dangerous roads in Europe. However, this place is worth to visit it. There are emerald-green valley’s cradle remote villages and pristine rivers roam through rugged terrain. These views has captured the hearts of courageous travelers worldwide. This is a mountainous corner with stark beauty and untamed wilderness, breathtaking vistas and authentic cultural experience.
As the road is unpaved and dirty and fairly difficult one even few Georgians has travelled to this region. Authenticity of Tushety expressed in its majestic highlands, tasty cuisine, saved appreciation of its ancient traditions.
This tour needs proper planning and competence. It is not something you can do with last minute call while you are travelling in Georgia.
Day 1 departure from Tbilisi
Early start is highly important here to decrease reverse traffic on the pass. In Telavi bazar we will stop to buy some fruits and snacks as there are no groceries infrastructure in Tusheti.
Then on the Omalo pass there are 3 stops with tremendous views.

Day 2 Tusheti - Villages: Diklo, Shenako, Kvavlo, Abano pass
Day 3 Tusheti - Villages: Dochu, Bochorna, Dartlo
Day 4 Tusheti - Keselo Towers
Day 5 Transfer Tusheti - Tbilisi
On way to Tbilisi we will have lunch and wine degustation in the pretty winery.
